How we operate
01 / Operating principles

How Mountain Stone operates.

Four principles shape how Mountain Stone operates. They show up in every brand we work with.

01

Growth is structural.

Channels will change. The structure underneath them is what lets growth keep working as the business evolves.

02

Decisions are infrastructure.

Good decisions shouldn’t depend on who happens to be in the room. The Method gives them a clear place to happen and something consistent to be judged against.

03

The system outlasts the engagement.

We build the Method inside the brand, not around Mountain Stone. The systems should keep making the business better long after any individual engagement ends.

04

Capacity over scale.

We grow the studio around the depth of the work, not the number of brands we can fit through it. Capacity only expands when we can maintain that standard.

The standard
The standard is the product. Every brand on the Method gets the full system, run at the same depth.

02 / The operators

The people behind the work.

Mountain Stone runs from Calgary. Drayden Larsen founded it and operates the Method. Emily Larsen, co-founder and creative director, leads the brand work. Behind them, a small team of specialists across paid media, lifecycle, and site. We stay small on purpose, and we only add a brand when we can run it at the same standard.

We study the best consumer companies closely, then bring what holds up back into the Method. Every brand benefits from what the work has taught us before.

A few brands.
Full depth.

We keep the studio deliberately small so we can stay close to the brands we work with. The conversation starts with a diagnostic.
